English Lord on Her Doorstep

Charlotte's poor grandmother was deceived by a con man and died of a broken heart, leaving her beloved dogs behind. When one of them, Flossie, runs off, Charlotte is at a loss. Suddenly, a beautiful stranger shows up, carrying Flossie in his arms. He introduces himself as Bryn and asks to stay the night because of bad weather.
