Hijiri Nagata, a sales representative for a medical equipment company, collapses on a train platform from sheer exhaustion after working himself to the brink. Later, he meets Shuuhei Kurusu, the station attendant who came to his aid, and thanks him. Though Shuuhei brushes it off with a casual "Please, don’t mention it," Hijiri offers his business card and suggests they have dinner together. When the evening arrives, the first thing Shuuhei does is ask about Hijiri's health, which makes his heart warm. Spending time with the easygoing, same-aged Shuuhei slowly begins to change Hijiri, who has long sacrificed his personal life and friendships for the sake of work...
