Nisei no Musuko

High schooler Manato, who has just moved to a rural religious city, is already fed up. No matter how hard anyone works, all accomplishments are credited to “faith” or “God’s blessing,” and Manato has grown sick of such a life. Wishing for as quiet and inconspicuous an existence as possible, he tries to keep his head down.

However, on his very first day at his new school, he catches the eye of Tenju, the “child of God” and son of the city’s spiritual leader. Despite his beautiful, alluring appearance, Tenju’s warm and friendly smile gradually draws Manato in. The two begin to nurture their love in secret, but in a small town where nothing stays hidden, keeping their relationship a secret is nearly impossible...
