Chiba Prefecture's millionaire Kujukuri Gosaku established the long-awaited professional baseball team "Chiba Pirates." The team comprised most prominent players from Chiba prefecture, but the team funds ran out due to extravagant nature of Gosaku and the management of the team deteriorated. The Team soon became the lowest ranked baseball team. The remaining players are determined and optimistic, but escape from the bottom is far away.
