As the formidable vampire lord, Ayla is more than capable of concocting whatever evil schemes he desires. But he would much rather spend his time gallivanting across the continent causing trouble for both demons and humans alike. Which is why even after he’s finally returned home after 17 years, he’s delighted to be greeted by a dark aggressive assassin out for his neck rather than peace and quiet.
