Noriaki Kakyouin

Kakyoin is a high school student and user of the stand Hierophant Green. Unlike most stand users, Kakyoin was born with his stand, though it caused him to feel like an outsider for most of his life due to not knowing any other stand users. Until meeting the rest of the main characters, Hierophant was Kakyoin’s only real friend.

Hierophant is not physically strong, but is elastic and can able to unravel into tentacles which can capture opponents. It can also enter an enemy’s body to possess them, though Kakyoin rarely uses this ability. Hierophant’s signature power is emerald splash, which hurls emeralds that slice opponents.

Kakyoin remains calm and collected even in dangerous situations, and is good at seeing through opponents’ strategies.

During a trip to Egypt with his family, he encountered Dio, who controlled him using a flesh bud. It was later removed by Jotaro and Kakyoin joined the Joestar group.
