About
Shiro is actually Amakusa Shiro Tokisada, who survived the Shimabara Rebellion. She was captured by the Dutch along with Mika Angelo. Although she had been living as a missionary, witnessing the brutal conflict between Christians in Taiwan begins to shake her faith. Eventually, she meets Zheng Zhilong and chooses to take on the identity of his deceased son, Zheng Chenggong (also known as Koxinga). Her character is based on Amakusa Shiro Tokisada and Zheng Chenggong.
