Yousuke Toori

A male director at Roppongi Television, a major media outlet. He is the one who organized the exclusive interview with "Sayan no okami" (Sayan's Wolf). Accompanied by a popular newscaster, he travels to Russia, only to get caught up in the civil war, resulting in the entire crew's demise. Although he requests to return to Japan, his request is denied and he ends up staying on, continuing the coverage with Kondo Hideko and Mikami. Although he has an air of elitism that can be off-putting, he is deeply driven by a sense of justice, and through the hardships of war, he grows and matures as a person.
