About
He is the Chief of the Security Division at the Hakodate Central Police Department. A passionate and earnest man with a strong sense of justice, he senses that there's more to the toxic gas leak caused by a Russian ship collision than meets the eye. However, he is ordered to stay out of it by Taizo Misaka, a government official. Frustrated by the higher-ups’ methods, he briefly considers resigning but is instead asked by Hideko Kondo’s mother to help find her missing daughter, prompting him to continue investigating.
