Anastasia

A young Russian girl whom Takuma Arawaki and Hideko Kondo encounter. A small attache case is cuffed to her left wrist. She is believed to be the reincarnation of Anastasia, the fourth daughter of Nicholas II, the last emperor of the Romanov dynasty. Hunted by Arksnis, the president of the Zabaykalsky Autonomous Republic, she was rescued by Takuma’s father, Michizane Arawaki, and hidden aboard a Russian warship docked at a floating dock in Hakodate.

In reality, she is a clone of Anastasia, created at Arksnis’s behest to further his ambitions. As a result, Takuma and the Arahahaki Clan find themselves locked in a conflict with both the Zabaykalsky Autonomous Republic and the Japanese government, which has secretly aligned itself with the republic.
