Ousou Ouji

The second son of Emperor Keikou. He was dispatched to Kyushu alongside his brother (Older) Prince Ousu to subjugate Kawakami Takeru, who refused to submit to the central authority. Brave and averse to cowardly actions, Ousu possesses a pure and idealistic nature, which often brings him into conflict with Takenouchi no Sukune. He infiltrates Takeru's fortress alone, defeating him in a fierce battle. As he lay dying, Takeru bestows upon him the name Yamato Takeru, which Ousu adopts thereafter.
