Misato is a genius shogi and go player and the youngest to have 50 consecutive victories. She is expected to be the future Kisei champion.

Misato has a strong respect for her grandfather, who was a genius shogi (Japanese chess) player. While usually she tries to act polite and dignified, every time she wins the game or is offered her favorite food, she gets excited like a child opening a present. Perhaps because she is unfamiliar with receiving praise, Misato can be rather shy after accepting a compliment.
