A horned man who rampaged through Izumo while Susanoo was absent. Namji led the forces of Izumo and confronted Hiboko’s army at Inasa-no-Hama, managing to narrowly defeat them. Claiming to be from the Heavenly Grandchild lineage, Hiboko was originally a member of the royal family of Silla. However, after developing a horned appearance, he was exiled from his homeland. He is based on the Silla prince Ame-no-Hiboko from Japanese mythology. (Mangapedia.com)
