The queen and high priestess of Yamatai, and the mother of Ikutsuhiko, Kusuhi, and Tagiri. She is also the grandmother of Tsunomi, Tsunuhiko, Teruhime, and Iwarehiko. Himiko’s character is based on the historical figure of Himiko as described in the "Records of the Three Kingdoms", as well as the great goddess Amaterasu Ōmikami from Japanese mythology.
