The leader of the Black Siblings, Kittan, makes his first appearance in the fourth episode of Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. He joins Kamina and Simon in the Gurren Brigade after acquiring his own Ganman, the "King Kittan". As a Ganman Pilot, Kittan is a force to be reckoned with, and an asset to the Great Gurren Brigade. Despite his sometimes obnoxious attitude and eccentric behaviour, Kittan is brave, noble, and willing to do whatever it takes to ensure that his friends escape whatever dangers they may encounter, no matter what the cost.

~!After the war, Kittan became the Chief of the Legal Affairs Bureau in Kamina City, but resigned after discovering about Rossiu's plan to evacuate Earth using the Arc-Gurren, along a small fraction of the human population, and abandoning the rest to die, when the moon falls. Kittan is another character to have Spiral Power. He awakens it when he destroys the Death machine. It allowed him to use the King Kittan Giga Drill Break, which lead to his death.!~
