Oliver's father and the husband of Chloe Halford. Edgar fell in love with Chloe while they were both students at Kimberly Magic Academy. They eventually married and the two, along with Esmeralda, served together as Gnostic Hunters.
~!After Chloe's murder, Edgar is pushed by her grandfather into forcing Oliver into a merge with Chloe's remaining soul in order to gain the strength to avenge her. After Oliver masters the fourth Spellblade and obtains Chloe's soul, he kills his great-grandfather and Edgar covers up the murders, later committing suicide out of guilt at being unable to protect his son.!~
