The only child of the Shirakawa Clan, Hakubi was spoiled growing up. He views friendship as something to brag about. He was hired by the prince and Kinrei to kill Rakan and his companions, but he failed and ended up joining the Sanome Prince's Guard. He has a lot of misconceptions about other characters' relationships, but none of the other guards are willing to correct him since they find them funny.
