Azucena is Lady Irene’s personal assistant and head of the maids in Irene’s entourage. Overprotective to the point of rambling, Azucena is suspicious of Arte at first, so much she ~!confused the name of Arte’s correspondent, Catarina, for her mistress’ true identity, Catalina of Castile!~ while Arte struck a conversation with Darcia. When she confronts Arte about this incident after threatening her with a dagger in an alley, she accidentally hints at Lady Irene’s true identity.
Despite being suspicious of Arte’s motives at first, she eventually comes to take a liking to Arte just like her Lady Irene has.
