Mahiro forms the Mahi-Mahi duo together with Mahiru who are often mistaken to be twins even though they are not related. It is rumored to give you luck and happiness if you meet the two of them.
Mahiro is shown to be the more mature and reliable one. She has darker hair, sharper eyes, and a skinnier body according to Mahiru.
Mahiro and Mahiru are extremely close, making sure that the other is happy. This is shown in their first chapter appearance where they are shown to get upset at the idea that the other may be hurt by finding out that mistletoe is actually a Christmas tradition instead of Valentine's one and try to cheer each other up at the same time.
