Ran was once Hitoshi's future wife and a mangaka Artist
With Fujimoto Miki and Tanaka Yoshiko, she is in the fujoshi girls group, Hagakure, yet she is not a fujoshi herself. She is a fan of fantasy novels.
She speaks so quietly that she even needs to write what she wants to say in order for her to communicate something, but in the future as mangaka, she is quite a tyrant type toward her assistants.
After Hitoshi helped her with going forward to her dream—becoming a mangaka artist—she falls in love with him.
Despite her surname, she is not a relative of Itou Shirou.
