Amagi

The demon that fell from Heaven that ravages his own kind. The immensely powerful mononoke that could rival Ragou in potential: Amagi. The so-called friend of Ragou, Amagi and him have had a long history dating back to the Edo period. Notorious amongst ancient mononoke for his abilities, most of which are not in praise. Unlike all the other mononoke, Amagi has a ability that makes him much more powerful than most, at the cost of it being taboo. On top of everything, he has his own following with its own ideology.

Amagi radiates a gentleman-like vibe when first meeting fellow mononoke; however, he will show a cocky side upon disagreement. Moreover, should things not go his way, Amagi will begin to threaten others and even get violent. With his taboo ability, it makes him merciless to everyone, mononoke or not. Because of this, he is somewhat feared by others of his kind.

As Amagi has amassed a large following, he has further power to wield. His vision is to make mononoke be praised and worshiped like gods as they once were. To achieve this, he utilizes his following to instigate attacks, cause chaos, and lure those he needs to an area. The key to his vision is Ragou, as Amagi needs him for his vision to become reality. ~!The power that Amagi has is like no other mononoke. He is able to cannibalize his own kind to gain further power as a mononoke. In his days of being worshipped, Amagi avoided eating others, but he later did as he could not defend his sanctioned land at his current ability back then. He later learned he could eat his own kind to become even stronger.!~ ~!In the end, Amagi uses all of his following to become more powerful by ruthlessly killing and devouring them. He even is willing to devour Kouga, partly his own creation, but doesn't in order to lure Jirou Azuma. Afterwards, Amagi is put to rest by the combined effort of Jirou and Ragou.!~
