Eliwood is the father of Roy and is a member of Pherae's ruling monarchy. While he first has a minor role in Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade and is responsible for making his son Roy head of the Lycian Army, Eliwood becomes one of three main characters in Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade, and his backstory and character are more deeply looked into in this game.
