Taroumaru

In the anime, Taromaru is notably an intelligent and tolerant dog, putting up with anything Yuki puts him up to and being able to open doors and escape.
He is able to avoid infected citizens and escape to the safety of Kei and Miki, and is later found by Kurumi in the mall. He is taken in by the School Life Club members as their "mascot."

After upsetting Taromaru at the mall by yelling at him, Taromaru dislikes being around Miki, preferring to be with the other girls instead. ~!Before dying, he is seen cuddling with Miki as an act of forgiveness.!~

~!After he becomes infected, he becomes volatile, barking and attacking Kurumi before being sealed inside a locked room. However, he is shown to have slight consciousness, as he protects Yuki from other zombies!~

In the manga, Taromaru is a Shiba Inu puppy that Yuki found while exploring. ~!he only appears for one chapter, as it turns out he later turned into a zombie, due to a zombie bite found by Megu-nee!~
